Inside an Accu-Spina plan

The corrective exercise piece kicks in around visit 15 of the standard decompression protocol. The disc has had time to settle, the adjustments have restored joint mobility, and now we have to teach the muscles to hold the new position. The retainer phase is the stretch lab's job.

Common questions

How is this different from a Stretch Lab franchise?
Different product. Our stretch lab is led by Melanie Foudy, M.S. (two master’s degrees, 34 years of experience, trains physical therapists). It is clinical and exam-driven, built around your imaging and posture findings. The franchise stores run a 25-minute generic stretch.
When does the stretch lab work fit into a chiropractic plan?
For decompression patients, the corrective exercise piece kicks in around visit 15 of the 20-visit protocol. Once the disc has had time to settle, we start retraining the muscles and posture so the new position holds. For non-decompression patients, the stretch lab opens up earlier.
Do I have to be a chiropractic patient to use the stretch lab?
No. Many patients use the stretch lab as a standalone service for chronic posture issues, athletic return-to-play, or post-surgical recovery.
What does a session look like?
60 minutes. Hands-on stretching, manual strength work, and a corrective exercise progression Melanie sends home with you. The exercises are usually 5 to 10 minutes a day.
