I measure before I ever touch you.
Your first visit is a show and tell, and nothing happens behind a curtain. We start with posture and weight bearing on dual scales, range of motion, and a quick reflex and neurological screening. Then comes the surface EMG. We do an EKG of your nervous system: I place small, non-invasive sensors next to your spine and the computer reads the electrical signal level by level, so we see how the nervous system is functioning, not just where it hurts.
Digital X-rays finish the picture. I put your own images up and walk you through them in plain language. The surface EMG helps us see the software, the X-rays help us see the hardware, and the two together help us see what is going on before we decide anything. - Your insurance card, if you have one (Carmen can verify it for you)

Free patient parking is right in front of the building. If it is easier, arrive about 15 minutes early and Carmen will get you set up with a paper intake form at the front desk.
