Condition
I can not really figure out. It is kind of hard for me to focus. Fog brain.
What we hear from brain fog patients on the first call.

What it is
Brain fog is a symptom of the nervous system not running clean. Upper cervical dysfunction, chronic sleep disruption, vagal tone problems, and stress all show up as brain fog.
What causes it
Foudy sees a recurring pattern: forward head posture, atlas/axis subluxation, and autonomic nervous system dysregulation. The surface EMG (what Foudy calls "an EKG of your nervous system") measures the function side, not just the pain side.
How we diagnose and treat it
Surface EMG to look at how the nervous system is firing, AP open-mouth X-ray for the upper cervical relationship, postural exam, and lifestyle conversation (sleep, hydration, screen time). Treatment combines upper cervical adjustments with the lifestyle work.
Symptoms we look for
- Trouble focusing on tasks you used to find easy
- Forgetting words mid-sentence
- A "dim" or "foggy" feeling in the head
- Often accompanied by neck tightness or headaches
Cost
First visit: $90 (consultation, exam, EMG, X-rays).
Timeline
Brain fog driven by upper cervical dysfunction often shifts inside 3–6 weeks of care plus lifestyle adjustments. Long-standing fog takes longer.
Related conditions
Headaches
Recurring head pain (at the temples, base of the skull, or "all over") often coming from the neck.
Neck pain
Stiffness, soreness, or sharp pain in the neck, often with a "knot" that keeps coming back between the shoulder blades.
Forward head posture
The head sits forward of the shoulders, dragging the upper back into a hunch. The body pays for it in pain.
